The team was split into two groups and sent out on a scavenger hunt across what's known as "The Royal Mile". After several hours of running around and taking in the city, we boarded a train to Glasgow.
Today was our first full day in Glasgow -- we began at TJ's house for orientation, talking a bit about the culture and spiritual climate of the city (with 1.7 million people, less than 1% are Christian). Still battling jet-lag, we were sent out to explore Glasgow as we did Edinburgh.
We ended the day at Patrick's flat with his family, TJ's family and Claire -- spent some time asking questions and getting to know each other over a delicious meal of fish and chips (chicken nuggets were had by some). We'll begin tomorrow back at TJ's for our next bit of "training" before heading to the area of the city we'll be working in for a majority of our trip.
