Yesterday began with another training session at TJ's house; as God's people, we're called to be missionaries right where He's placed us. We talked about what it means to listen to the Spirit and the importance of meeting others where they are, both culturally and spiritually, as well as what this might look like for each of us when we return home. After training, the group set out with Claire to participate in an exercise known as narrative mapping.
The team was broken up into pairs and sent into the Shettleston neighborhood to spend the afternoon prayerwalking, making observations and chatting with the local residents.
As I post, the team is back at Patrick's flat playing games, sharing stories and waiting for our pizza to get here! We'll spend the rest of the evening visiting with some students the Quest teams have built relationships with over the last several years. All are doing well on this side of the pond! We're encouraged by your prayers and comments.
