We started out with a training about spiritual warfare from Mark, pastor of DBC, and heard a few testimonies of the importance of prayer and how God moves and pushes back the darkness when we pray!
After training, we split up into teams and did just that! One group drove to the nearby town of Reddrie, where DBC's new church plant is being built, and spent time prayer-walking through the streets, asking for God to move in that community and bring many people to find the hope of Christ.
Another group spent time praying in a community center in Dennistoun, while the final few stayed at the church for an ESOL Bible Study, a weekly meeting where people can join and learn English through reading the Bible.
We all came back encouraged, and spent time praying some more with DBC leaders for God to move in all the communities they are trying to reach. A really wonderful morning!
Please pray for their efforts. It's a huge job and they've faced opposition but they're trusting God will carry them in the process.
Last full day tomorrow so please pray that students would fully engage in the day!
