Happy Sunday! We started off today heading to Dennistoun Baptist Church in Dennistoun, which is a neighborhood of Glasgow. We will be partnering with DBC for the rest of our week and joining in their weekly ministry opportunities. We worshipped and heard preaching on Ephesians 1:3-5.
After service it is typical for the congregation to stay after and enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits and each other's company. Our team had the opportunity to practice engaging with new people and learning about their lives and what brought them to DBC or Glasgow. We had the opportunity to spend the rest of the day with church members.
Later in the evening we returned to DBC for their very first 3-2-1 course the church is piloting. This course (similar to the Alpha course if you're familiar) focuses on addressing foundational questions and concepts of the Christian faith and is great tool to help engage people with different beliefs in Gospel conversations.
Overall, a great day and we are so excited for spend more time with the DBC family and learn more about their ministry and work in Glasgow and are so grateful we get to be a part of it!
